New Release: The Ancients
I'm excited to announce the third book in The Progenitor Chronicles has been published. It feels so great to finally have this new book out in the world. The support I've received from my readers and fellow authors have been overwhelming. I thank everyone for helping get to this point in my career, especially my launch team. Without your reviews, my books would never be found.
This book took a lot longer for me to publish than I had planned, but life events took hold of me this year. While I am gratefully for the many blessings that have come my way, the loss made it that much harder to keep to my schedule. But somehow I still managed to have the book published before the end of the year..
With themes of love, redemption, family, and forgiveness, this story weaves together in an epic space journey for young adult readers that the whole family can enjoy. On this journey, you'll see elements of time travel, space travel, found family, redeemable villains, and good vs evil tropes. Check out what people are saying about the new release below.

The Ancients (Book Four of The Progenitor Chronicles) by Sara Wright
Trust is all Xendara has as an ancient evil awakens to destroy her.
In a galaxy teetering on the brink of annihilation, Xendara becomes the symbol of hope, as she leads her people into a desperate civil war. With her powers fading she embarks on a journey in a race against time to halt an ancient evil from destroying the Universe. But with the darkness growing inside her, she may lose everyone she loves.
With his heart divided, Darijus must choose between protecting Xendara or shielding his sister, forcing him to trust a former enemy. Navigating through space and time, he questions everything he’s ever known, including the person he holds closest: Xendara.
Together, Xendara and Darijus must face an enemy more powerful than the architects of the Universe.
Will they muster the strength to halt the annihilation of the universe? Or will the lure of dark powers prove too compelling to resist?

If you haven't read the first two in the series, you'll definitely want to start with those, so you know what this one is about. The creativity and world-building have become ever more excellent throughout the series, and always ends with the reader wanting more. I can't wait until the next one!

Wowwee was this one complicated. I am really impressed with Sara's ability to keep track of all of the time shifts and timelines because that was nuts but such a fun and unpredictable ride. I really enjoyed this series and thought it was so well planned out and executed. I am also surprised by how obsessed with these character's I'm becoming and I am dreading having to wait for the next book. At least this one wasn't as big of a cliffhanger, but there is still a lot pending. I think at this point Ronan and Queen Ave are my favorites but there are so many fun characters it's really hard to choose. Book three ups the humor and ups the relationship seriousness, though it still remains very YA and only steamy, but I am loving every minute of it. There was a lot of sadness in this one, but its hard to trust what is final and what could be undone which makes it even more fun. I also really like seeing the different versions of the same characters due to the timelines. If you haven't started this series yet you need to get on it.

Each book in this series pulls you in more and more, and The Ancients was my favorite one yet! The central group of characters working together make the story in even better for me, they work well together and have an almost sitcom like feel, even when the stakes are high. I really enjoy Acacia and Ronan, and Queen Ave is my favorite character. Very found family which is one of my favorite tropes.
I love the blend of sci-fi and fantasy because I’m a fantasy girlie who wants to be a sci-fi queen but find myself so intimidated, but this book does space opera in an approachable way. My overall favorite thing is the world building, I say this every book but it’s really creative and unlike other book premises I’ve read, and I appreciate that. It’s been awesome to see the progression of Wright’s writing just getting better and better. Her writing voice is very intelligent but kind and approachable. I had a good time with this one!
